Nap workshop | Daniel Castle | 2015

The nap workshop is holding every year with the participation of Hungarian, Romanian and one other countries artists by Alpar Peter. He gave the Iranian artists the opportunity of participating in this workshop in 2015. Iranian and Hungarian contemporary artists met and created in the Daniel-castle entourage filled with natural and historical values. The closing exhibition provides a glimpse into this exciting visual dialogue between artist and artist, culture and culture, nature and contemporary art. The idea of this exhibition that was including the artworks of Iranian environmental artist in this ten years was given to me by Alpar Peter in Korea. We start to prepare this exhibition in the summer of 2014 and held it after one year in the summer of 2015. Selecting artworks took long time (about 9 month) because I wanted to be accurate, so I published a call for all the artists to let the younger artist to take part in this exhibition as well as the experienced artists.

My other goal was to help the experienced artists who had no international collaboration and this exhibition could helped them and the total Iranian environmental art movement to be raise up. So we decided with Alpar Peter to hold a workshop with Iranian and Transylvanian artists after the exhibition. Yatoo Residency | Gongju city, Korea 2014

I was in Korea for two month and after Global Nomadic Art Project 2014, stay one month more for Yatoo residency. I had some project for residency but prefer to choose a project about Love. So I chose a story about Love from Iran and one local story in Korea. Korean people call this story: “Kongkakgi” and I found it in Korea. They believe when somebody falling in love, he or she being blind and shape of bean is symbol of cover the eyes. First I bought my material and start for welding the structure.
